Our church membership seminar explains our beliefs, values and the history of Century Baptist Church. You will get to know who we are, including our mission and vision for sharing God’s message of love and hope.

This class is a prerequisite for membership. Lunch is provided.

Conversion

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is fundamental for membership at Century Baptist Church. This relationship must include committing your life to Christ and trusting in his death for the forgiveness of your sins. Some Christians are able to trace the beginning of their relationship with Christ to a point in time and others say that their commitment to Christ developed over a period of time, and both of those experiences are valid.

Baptism

Baptism by immersion is fundamental for membership at Century Baptist Church.

Immersion in water symbolizes the believer's death to sin and self and his new life in Christ (Romans 6:4). Baptism also signifies to the world that the believer desires to be publicly identified as a Christian.
