Greetings to our Century family, from your Lead Pastor Search Committee.   We have been meeting, as a committee, each 2^nd Tuesday of the month.    In our last meeting, on Aug 12^th, we discussed pending business and spent time in prayer.   Our only communication, currently, is that CBC is now in a time of unpacking the information from Vital Church’s Assessment, as well as processing their recommendations to our Elders and staff.  Our next steps would be to write the job description for our new Lead Pastor Position and detail any governance changes made by our leadership.

As you learned from the Vine, Charlie Young has decided to resign his position as an Elder to invest more time with his family.    As a result, he is no longer on the Search Committee.  We are waiting on direction from the Elders whether we replace Charlie or move forward with ten members.

Pastor Carl was back home in Colorado for a week, seeing both of his sons prior to their return to college.
