Greetings to our Century family, from your Pastoral Search Committee. This is our first of many communications to ensure that the church body of Century Baptist Church is aware of our search for a new Lead Pastor.
The CBC members who were nominated into this temporary committee of 11, are as follows, in alphabetical order:

Our committee has now met twice and has elected the following positions:
- Director of Prayer, Rachel Johnson
- Secretary, Angie Gallagher
- Vice-Chairman, Vaughn Rhodes
- Chairman, Barry Schumaier
We will communicate with the congregation through several methods, that will include The Vine, our Prayer Chain, the app, and primarily a dedicated Search Committee landing page on www.centurybaptist.org/pastorsearch. As many of you are aware, the church has hired Vanderbloemen, a dedicated staffing agency that works with churches and other nonprofits. This agency was also contracted when we recently hired Pastor Paul Ewing.
In regard to a time frame, we have been advised that a search of this magnitude will typically take 18 to 24 months. Century Baptist Church has been fortunate in not having to conduct a search for a Lead Pastor since 1998. We would sincerely ask for prayer and wisdom as we travel down this path together.
