The Team is preparing for the next Input Session with the congregation. We ask that the congregation prepare for the session by thinking about who should have the authority, responsibility, and accountability for different aspects of ministry and operations at Century Baptist.
The focus will be on the practical areas of church ministry and operations and asking you to share your thoughts. During the session we will be providing examples in the areas of mission, ministry, staffing, finances, facilities and organizational leadership and asking you to give input of who/where the authority, responsibility and accountability should reside.
As you begin to think about this important step, we would ask that you pray for the input session, leadership, and church that we would seek and find God’s direction. Being clear in the Team’s communication, we want to share our appreciation for the input and comments received from the first input session. Through those comments a common theme was apparent – that having strong systems in place to ensure clear role definition, defined processes, accountability, and communication that is regular and shared through multiple channels.
