The Lead Pastor Search Committee wants to share an update on our progress, as well as a recap of the Town Hall meeting held on Sunday, July 12th.
Our two most recent committee meetings took place on June 9th and July 14th. Pastor Randy Jaspers, our Regional NAB Minister, joined us on June 9th to provide valuable feedback and guidance on our Lead Pastor job description and overall search process. Most importantly, he lifted our committee and our church up in prayer.
During our July 14th meeting, we finalized the agenda for Brett Connolly’s upcoming visit to Bismarck and Century Baptist Church on August 23rd. We also reviewed the congregational feedback from the recent Town Hall meeting and discussed the final plans for the promotional video being produced for our Search Profile.
Additionally, we decided to create and distribute two forms for the congregation:
A Search Committee Contact Form: This is posted on the CBC website, allowing you to submit questions directly to our committee.
A Survey Form: This will gather your feedback regarding the attributes you consider most important as we look for our next Lead Pastor. We are in development of this form, it will be distributed in August.
