MIX is built for middle school brains, hearts, and bodies.
That’s why the Gospel is taught in a way they understand. It’s why small group discussions aren’t an afterthought. And it’s why we play a lot. Moments at MIX change lives and could be the most important four days of your student’s year.
CIY (Christ in Youth) MIX is a 4 day Middle School Youth Conference for students to grow in their understanding of who they are as a disciple of Jesus and embrace the Kingdom work God has prepared for them to do. And this is exactly what the MSM at Century Baptist sets out to do as we partner with parents as they lead and guide their student’s discipleship journey. This is why we choose MIX.
One of the best things about CIY MIX is that you get to experience this with your small group leaders and small groups that you’ve been living and doing life with this year.
Our MSM is heading to MIX in Warrensburg, MO, June 28-July 3. MIX is going to be held at the University of Central Missouri, about 50 miles southeast of Kansas City, MO. This beautiful college campus spans 1,561 acres. It features a perfect blend of state-of-the-art facilities and historic—yet modern—buildings that date back to UCM’s founding in 1871. Warrensburg is a safe community with a variety of unique restaurants, shops, and other businesses. The newly renovated downtown district is just a five-minute walk from UCM’s beautiful college campus. By being in Warrensburg you’ll have the best of both worlds: The hospitality and quiet of a small town and the close proximity to Kansas City and all that a big city has to offer.
Schedule
- June 28: Depart from Bismarck at 3 pm; arrive in Sioux Falls, SD and stay overnight at a church.
June 29: Depart from Sioux Falls at 8 am, arrive at MIX in Warrensburg. Registration opens at 1 pm. - June 30-July 2: MIX 24/7
- July 3: Depart from Warrensburg at 8 am and arrive home by approximately 10 pm.
Cost
- $380 covers everything except meals and snacks during travel. This cost includes travel expenses such as fuel.
- A $50 deposit is due upon registering your student. This deposit goes towards the $380 cost.
- The full registration amount is due on May 1, 2023.
- Payments can be made in check or cash. Checks made payable to Century Baptist Church.
- If this cost seems overwhelming, don’t worry. God’s got this and we will find ways to get your student to MIX.
Registration closes on April 28, 2023 or when all 22 spots are filled.
Following registration, you will receive an email and link from April Wahl, Middle School Director, to go to CIY MIX’s website and fill out their Emergency Medical Release form. After registration, you will also be added to an email list that will included updates pertaining to CIY MIX travel details, packing list, and more.
